Ready to feel proud of (and finally at peace with) your home?
You’ve pinned. You’ve shopped. You’ve convinced your husband it’s time to buy grown-up furniture.
But despite all this planning, you just want to feel like your house (living room, kid’s room, heck, even the laundry) is finished. Polished. Like the cover of Coastal Living magazine.
Or doesn’t look like a daycare. Baby steps, right?
No, you’re not asking too much. You just need a little help.
Hey there. I’m Dina Holland.
Some people know me as the blogger behind Honey + Fitz. My clients know me as the designer that finally turned their house into a home.
If my style was StitchFix, I’d be checking boxes for classic, preppy and Momma needs a night out. (And I would totally mix couture with Target. Because budgets.)
My passion is creating family-friendly spaces that are timeless, inviting and super livable for you and the people who call you mom.
Here’s how I got there…
It all started with a blog . . . make that a lifeline (Thank you Honey + Fitz). I was pregnant with our first son and living in North Carolina, 700 miles-that-seemed-like-light years away from my New England roots. For a while family and friends were my sole audience . . . until I started seeing comments from names I didn’t recognize.
Soon a few comments turned to a few thousand followers who watched my journey evolve from simple DIY projects to seriously fantastic before-and-afters.
I also began to connect with neighbors who were so inspired by the way our cookie-cutter house had evolved into such a unique expression of our family that they wanted their living spaces to do the same.
At that junction of virtual connection and real time demand, my design business was born.
Eight years later, we moved back home to Boston, trading 4,000 square feet of perfectly proportioned new rooms for 1,800 square-feet of century-old charm (which includes weirdly place radiators, odd windows and a general furniture planning nightmare).
I brought home my passion for helping people really love their houses. It didn’t take long for that passion to connect me to clients who wanted the same.
So, how do we make this thing official?
My goal is to help you really love your home. That means living well and beautifully-with kids-in all the perfect imperfection this time in life brings.
