I recently saw a few really beautifully executed wall mounted faucet vanities and decided I wanted to spend a little more time exploring this idea. It’s certainly not a new concept and one that was standard issue in many rustic farmhouses for years. I’ve seen it done more and more in modern settings and even in very luxe rooms. I love the new interpretations of this older style of fixture.
As you can see, there are a few ways to pull this look off. Sometimes the faucet is mounted on a tile or marble backsplash (my favorite look). Sometimes, it’s mounted directly on drywall. Sometimes it’s integrated into the sink. It can be a vanity, a kitchen sink or even a tub. No matter how it’s done though, you have to pay attention to the faucet’s projection and make sure it’s going to reach into the sink you’re using….or you’ll just end up with a big ole puddle.
If you’re liking this look, here are some of my favorite wall mounted faucets in a big range of style and finishes and prices (though most are remarkably well priced!)
